This is an aluminum canteen in a nylon snap closed carrying case which has an adjustable nylon strap. The canteen is approximately 7-1/2" in diameter. The top is threaded and is attached to the canteen by a chain. The back of the case has a few scuff marks, but otherwise I did not find any damage.
