This is a copyright 1920 magazine from the Southern Pine Association ( a lumber distribution company). It apparently came from the Sage-Fiflied Lumber Co. of Delavan Wisconsin. The 3 digit phone number of the lumber company is also on the front cover. The full title is A hundred Handy Helps for the Farmer his farm and his home. This booklet is full of ideas for labor saving devices, home made tools, implements and handy gadgets for the farm and home. There are plans to build "a contrivance that facilitates slopping hogs" (now doesn't THAT sound like fun!!), A dakota dehorning chute, an iceless refriderator, a buggy jack and loads of other devices and tools. The back cover is torn and the corners of the pages are bent. The edges of the pages are worn as well. All the pages appear to be here and the text and photographs are still quite legible. The ink doesn't seem to have faded much at all.
