I bought these new when we first got married 13 years ago. They're made of glass, and are about 6" overall in height. Each has a removable shade. I never burned these, but one of the candles is missing. The other is still in the plastic wrapper. These were only used for display, but I noticed a small crack in the middle of one of the shades that I never noticed when I bought them. If I hadn't have held it up under a light now I would have missed it completely. The top edge of one of the shades has a couple chips as well. The bottom edges of the shades are rough in spots. It almost looks like chips, but this is how they came out of their original packaging. I never noticed ANY of this when I first bought them.
