This is an 8-3/8" soup bowl in the Golden Shell pattern, made by Anchor Hocking. This pattern was made between 1963-1976. It has a swirl pattern in the bowl and 22 carat gold trim on the scalloped rim. The bottom is marked ANCHOR HOCKING with the H in an Anchor logo. Below this it says Heat resistant 5 Made in USA. This bowl is in beautiful condition. There is some very faint wear to the gold trim, but it isn't particularly noticable. There are two tiny chips in the gold on the rim and a few small utensil scratches, but overall it looks really nice. This was originally sold as a soup bowl, but it would also make a great veggie bowl.
