Ken magazine proclaims itself; A magazine of unfamiliar fact and informed opinion, filling in the shadows cast by coming events all over the world; equally opposed to the development of dictatorship from either Left or Right, whose one fixed editorial aim is to give unhampered and unbiased demonstration of whatever dangers threaten this our democracy from without and within, in accord with the Lincolnian dictum of "Let the people know the truth and this country is safe." This quote comes from the masthead at the top of the index on page 6. There is a lot of discussion of Germany, Hitler and the Nazi party, from discussion of refugees seeking safety in New Yorkto an article abo ut a pastor of an Austrian church who, at that time was in Dachau. There are also articles about Somali, about the death of Kemal Ataturk, who was the dictator of Turkey, and one about Walter Scott and the castle he was building in Death Valley (Scotty's Castle). There are a couple torn pages, and the covers are worn and stained. Pages 43-46 are missing and some of the center pages are loose. The back cover has an advertisement from the Ethyl Gasoline Corporation. This was a bi-weekly magazine that orignally cost .25.
