This is a nice set of very heavy milk glass pieces. I can't decide if they were originally meant to be ashtrays or candy dishes. Each has a hobnail pattern around the outside. The largest one is almost 6.5" diameter. The inner edge of the rim is rough and chipped in several places. There are also some small chips on the outer edge of the rim, and on a few of the hobnails. The second piece is 5" diameter. It has a couple damaged points on the rim and several damaged hobnails. The smallest piece is 3.5" diameter. It has a damaged point on the outer edge of the rim. Even with the damage, they look pretty nice. The damage is actually easier to feel than it is to see, perhaps because it's milk glass and not clear. They display really well, and would make a great addition to a milk glass collection.
