This is a program from the August 4th 1945 horse show at the Green County Fair in Monroe Wisconsin. It's got a picture of a young woman and her horse on the cover and is full of advertisements for local businesses. The back cover has an ad for Golden Glow '48 beer from the Blumer Brewing Company. There is an ad for Old Style Lager on the inside of the front cover. An ad from the Ninneman Coal and Ice Co. says America-the best spot on Earth! and encourages people to buy war bonds. Coca-Cola, Texaco and Kraft also have advertisements. The pages have been marked, some with check marks, some say okay, and some have what look like corrections, but they're all there and none are torn or dog eared. I get the impression that whoever had this copy was proofreading it for errors. The ink is a little faded in spots, but still clear and legible.
