This beautiful old piece originally belonged to our neighbor's mother, who had it for many years. It is approximately 12" tall x 16" long. I believe it is made of plaster. It's a very heavy piece and the bottom has the rough look usually associated with plaster. Five felt pads on the bottom prevent scratches to furniture. It has numerous small chips to the finish, but in spite of these it's still a really beautiful piece.
