This is a tab handled plate and a berry or dessert bowl from Royal. The plate is 10.5" diameter and the bowl is 5.5" diameter. These would make wonderful display pieces, although I keep thinking they would be great for serving veggies or chips and dip, or maybe hors d'ouvres and relish. The plate has the Royal backstamp. The backs are a little dirty and there are some very light scratches on the plate, but otherwise I did not find any damage. There is one area on the plate, in the lower right corner of the pattern that I first thought was a scratch in the pattern. The plate is undamaged there, and I believe this is an itentional "age mark" in the pattern, similar to the edge of the pattern. The pattern in the bowl has a similar "worn" look that is under the glaze and is part of the design.
