This beautiful hand-painted piece is approximately 6" tall. The bottom is marked Sampson Import Co Chicago 1958, and has the number 3528 below that. The scene is an artist in his studio who has just finished a portrait for his client. I did not find any chips or cracks, but the front and part of the back are moderately crazed. Then back and side have some spots that look like discoloration along some of the crazing.
