This item is approximately 10" x 17". The back of the skull is marked copyright 1995 The Paper Magic Group Inc. Scranton PA 18501 Made in China. I believe it is made of papier mache'. The back has an on/off switch, a battery holder, and a speaker. You can see where the cardboard backing was cut.< When you turn it on and it detects a sound, the red LED's in eyes flash on and off. It also makes a spooky laughing sound.
