This lamp is 11.5" tall. It accepts a taper candle. The base is porcelain and the top is made of glass. The glass shade is currently held down tightly by three spots of what look and feel like florist's clay. These can easily be removed when it's time to change the candle. The candle it currently has is used, but shouldn't need to be replaced for a while. It has no chips, cracks or damage.
