This is a beautiful floral patterned lamp whose body is made of a ceramic ginger gar with an antique brass base and hardware. It's hard to believe, but I am fairly certain that it is homemade. It's 15" tall and about 8" at the widest point of the body. The flowers are hand painted. Brush strokes and dots of paint are clearly visible, and the artist has signed it Bev Heitke 80. The detail in the flowers is absolutely beautiful. The three metal shade supports make a 10" diameter circle. This lamp would look as beautiful with a fabric shade as it would with a glass hobnail shade. It has three chips in the glaze on the body, which could easily be repaired and the mold line could have been cleaned better, but otherwise it is really a beautiful lamp.
